There are elections next month in Britain. Coincidently, I
came across many British and Commonwealth citizens who have a right by law and
who are eligible to vote say, that they simply don’t vote. This is very
surprising to see that people in a developed country are acting like people in an
under develop country. Plus, none of them is happy with the government.
So, I argue that first you don’t even bother to vote then why
are you complaining? You don’t vote then you mourn for five years like a third
world country.
People argue our vote doesn’t make any difference, yes you
are absolutely right if every other person thinks like that and don’t vote then
definitely your vote doesn’t make any difference. Its not what in your vote,
its in what you believe and are you willing to make a difference in your life
and lives of your family for a better future.
You are willing to do every bit for the betterment of the
future of your family but you will not vote. Why, because you are lazy, pessimist
and sadist.
You live in a democratic country and you don’t practice your
fundamental right and then you complain and protest on the roads, in the end
what you get? Water canons, police beatings and tear gas etc. why don’t you
people simply go and vote or you people prefer police beatings.
Protesting on the roads and streets doesn’t make you
powerful; on the streets you are just a mob. Be a voting power house, get
people together, get momentum in your cause so, every person in a decision
making chair fear you.
