It’s Time to Declare Independence …

It is very surprising to see the recent developments in the city of Karachi regarding MQM and Mohajir issue. The recent raid by rangers on MQM headquarters and then after few days video statements by Saulat Mirza, one was recorded after his arrest 17 years ago and the second one which has been recorded recently regarding MQM and Mohajir issue. It couldn’t be just a mere coincidence. These videos are recorded and provided to media for what?

These videos are recorded and published with the instructions from the government and with a proper planning. The government knows very well what will happen after when these videos will be in front of the people of Pakistan and especially Mohajir people.

The recent raid on MQM headquarters reminds us of army operation against the Mohajir nation in the 90’s. There are so many political parties in Pakistan and every political party have armed militia but the rangers raided the MQM headquarters. 

The best way to destroy a powerful thing is not by attacking it from outside but to destroy it from inside. To destroy their belief, to destroy their trust, to destroy their power which they form when they are united. These videos raise questions among the Mohajir community and forces them to think that are we doing the right thing for ourselves. They will definitely lose confidence in themselves and will leave them aimless. 

We shouldn’t forget that after the Army Public School attack it has proved that PML – (Nawaz Group), Pakistan Tehreek – e – Insaaf, and the Pakistan Army are working together to create a block and eliminate all other factions in Pakistan. 

What’s next? 

These three parties will work together to eliminate MQM from Karachi and Hyderabad. So, there will be no body left to raise voice against atrocities by Pakistani government against Mohajir population and their descendants. 

The future is not looking good for Pakistan. I think we should declare independence from Pakistan. We, the Mohajir from Karachi and Hyderabad, Sindhis from Sindh, Baloch from Baluchistan, Pashtuns from North West of Pakistan and Kashmiris from Kashmir residing in Pakistan and around the world should come together and work together for a separate homeland for everyone. It’s time to leave behind Muttahida Qaumi Movement and go back to our roots as Mohajir Qaumi Movement, let’s get back to our glory days because this is our real identity and victory for our cause. Let’s get together again under the banner of Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM), the real MQM. 

A separate homeland for all Mohajirs living in Pakistan and Bangladesh who are stateless after the fall of East of Pakistan, for which Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto promised to bring them all to Pakistan but he didn’t fulfilled his promise, they are trying to survive there as stateless people similarly as Bengalis trying to survive in Pakistan as stateless people. 

A separate and sovereign state of Kashmir for Kashmiri people including all the Kashmiri area captured by Pakistan, all the Kashmiri area captured by India and all the Kashmiri area captured by China known as Aksai Chin. 

The Kashmiri people living with Pakistan and the Kashmiri separatists living and fighting with India to be a part of Pakistan. Please stop yourselves from committing suicide. Please learn a lesson from what Pakistan has done with East Pakistan and Bengalis. What Pakistan has done with Mohajirs living in Pakistan and living as a stateless people in Bangladesh? Please open your eyes and minds, and fight for an independent Kashmir from Pakistan, India and China. Liberate yourself from these countries and rule as sovereign nation. 

We should come together and be united for the Republic of Baluchistan for Baluch people, an independent Sindhudesh for Sindhi people, and a separate independent country for Pashtuns. 

For this we have to be united in our cause and help each other to achieve it. Please forget the things and thinking which divides us. We have to forget our differences and rivalries for one cause, for all of ourselves, for a better and progressive future.
