My overall experience was good but I had a very strange and
unpleasant experience, felt embarrassed as well.
I had an open ticket which means I can travel anytime with
in three months.
When I showed my ticket to the driver, he was watching the
ticket and watching my face.
He said you are not supposed to take this bus, I replied,
what do you mean? I bought an open ticket that means I can travel anytime of my
convenience, I have paid extra money for this option.
The driver said, he knows that but I have to inform the
National Express that I want to travel on certain bus. I was very furious on
this because every single person around was watching me. I was feeling like an
idiot.
The National Express office is closed at 05:00 PM. Why and
how I will inform National Express about my journey? Why I have bought open ticket?
If I want to travel at night so I have to wait till morning
to inform the National Express about my journey?
According to his paper work the bus was full. So, that is
not my problem. When the bus started there were empty seats, not only that;
during announcement he mentioned that according to his paperwork there are only
three seats empty but there were more than three.
During all my travel I was so terrified thinking that the
bus driver will come to me anytime and will ask me to leave the bus.
There is one more thing I like to mention. There is a good
that every seat has an electric socket but it doesn’t works. It would be very
convenient if they work.
