Nottingham City Transport (NCT)

To,

Nottingham City Transport,

Subject: Feedback

The routes, which I like, are bus services of 76, 77, 78 and 79. Absolutely marvellous service, exactly after 2 minutes on Aspley Lane. Whenever you step out of your home there is a bus waiting for you. I just love this route.

The route I hate is 44 and City Link 2. Absolutely not reliable, it’s better to walk rather than catch these buses.

Currently, I am using 28, 30 and 31 for my travel. I am not satisfied by the time gap between the buses of 28. They are not frequent and not reliable. Especially on Sundays, not all people have holidays on this day. Some people have jobs. So, Sunday timing for 28 is not good, talking about 30 on Sunday is ridiculous.

At evenings and night times where it is too cold outside in winter we have to wait for the buses too long.

Bus service 40 and 41 are less frequent and at peak times too small bus capacity.

Travelling to West Bridgford is a nightmare. The travelling time is too long and bus capacity is too less.

The buses with less capacity have less ventilation, most of the time in winter all of the people altogether shut the windows. Makes it difficult to travel because some of my family members feel suffocation and when we open even only one window, people come to fight with us. Sometimes I feel scare to let my family travel without a male counterpart because of misbehaviour from other passengers.

Sometimes when it rains or when all of the windows are shut the bus stinks, especially early in the mornings when we catch the bus, the bus smells like someone was smoking weed.

And sometimes I have experienced very strange behaviour from the drivers. They empty the bus from the passengers at the bus stops mostly in the city centre and go somewhere and sometimes they even go in the gambling shops. Leaving a long queue outside of the bus. This is what I have experienced at 28 bus stop at the City Centre outside Victoria Centre.

I also don’t understand what taxis have to do at bus stops. It’s very irritating, blocking the way for the buses.

I don’t know why there is no bus service to take people inside Hyson Green, Forest Fields, Radford Boulevard and Middleton Boulevard. There are local buses but no buses to travel directly to City Centre.
I think there is a need of more bus stops between Beechdale Bus Stop and the Crown Bus Stop because people coming from Ainsley Estate and near by residents they have to cross a dangerous and major cross road to catch 28 at Beechdale. There is no stop in between Beechdale Bus Stop and the Crown Bus Stop, making people to cross the road irresponsibly putting themselves and motorists at danger.

In other places, there are some small gaps and sometimes there are big gaps between bus stops. Some bus stops are unnecessary and in some places where people need bus stop they have to run to catch one like Beechdale bus stop, it’s dangerous.

I think there should be discounts all year round for students on all routes of NCT with a valid student ID and on NUS card, when students buy tickets on the bus and on bus card top-ups.

Irresponsible response from the management of Kout Food Group (KFG)

To, Dione Hamilton & Arron Morley Dear Sir or Madam:             I have accepted your invitation, which I just got now. I will be there on Monday 24 th September 2012 at 06:00 PM at Burger King Lady Bay Retail Park. First thing first, will you please tell the GM Yanna Li and the senior members of staff, of Burger King, Lady Bay Retail Park, to stop spreading rumours about my family and me. If anyone has any problem with me, so come and deal with me. I will not tolerate any rumours regarding my family and me. I am not happy with the presents of Area Manager Arron Morley and GM Yana Li. The reason for sending my resignation to the Area Manager Arron Morley was to bring this matter under his knowledge but the rumours I am getting from Burger King, it is very hard to trust anyone in this business now. I have no objection with the presents of Louise Mounsey in the investigation. Inste...

Pakistan, A Herd of Sheep

It's very surprising and shocking to see that how Pakistani people living in the West are concerned about Syria. I like to ask these people that what about people living in Pakistan. Why don't these people show their concerns for their country of origin?   Why don't they show concern about the corruption of the government? Why don't they show concern when elections are rigged? Why don't they demand for voting rights for Pakistani nationals living in foreign countries? Why don't they demand for electoral reforms in Pakistan if they claim that it's a democratic country? Why don't they show concern about feudal lord and landlord system of the society? Why don't they show concern about political dynasties ruling the country? Why don't they show concern about poverty in Pakistan? Why don't they show concern on deteriorating law and order situation in Pakistan? Why don't they show concern when the army train, support and e...

Dear Muhajir Nation III

O Muhajir people  You are being a target to be divided and you know well what happens when you are divided.  Never forget your history. Never forget what is happening since 1947 till now.  When you came as refugees you were rejected by the local people and asked to go back from where ever you have come from.  In 1971, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman asked for your help for independence, you said no you will support West Pakistan and when West Pakistan lost they deserted you, living your brothers and sisters stateless, which are still stateless in Bangladesh. Similarly, Bengalis who are left in West Pakistan are stateless till date.  There was a reason to create Muhajir Quami Movement (MQM). When this movement became popular, the local feudal lords and landlords didn’t liked it and don’t like it till date.  They have tried to crush Muhajir nation time by time. Never forget military operation in early 1990’s, which was called Operation Clean U...
