Nikah (Shaadi) and Civil Marriage

I don’t understand why many people arguing me to how to get married. Some are talking about marriage registration and some are talking about ‘Nikah (Shaadi)’. Can anyone tell me, what is the difference between a Nikah and a Civil Marriage?

If you please open your brains and read what the Islam says, The Islam says that marriage is a contract between a Man and a Woman. Where a man and a woman come together to start a family. For marriage you need a contract between a man and a woman and two witnesses.

So?

Is there any difference between Nikah and Marriage?

You ignorant people, it’s the same thing.

In the religion, which is called Islam, there is no such thing to call a cleric and he will come, recite some verses of the Holy Book and two signatures or fingerprints and witnesses.

What is this all about?

It’s good to have both, I am not arguing that; that’s good.

If you only had Civil Marriage, that’s it. It’s done. Why? Because you have a Certificate, provided from the government. Understood or not?

But if you only had Nikah, you need a Civil Marriage Certificate brothers and sisters because under the law the Nikah Certificate has no significance. Understood or not?

Don’t forget in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, you have the British constitution. By law, you can’t just get any religious Cleric, Pandit or a Father of a Church to get you married. He should be authorised by the government to conduct marriages and should provide the families with Legal Certificates which is acceptable in any court of the world as you have your passport worldwide acceptable, it’s the same thing. Every document should go through on government-authorised papers.

You can’t just fetch any cleric and ask to conduct a wedding. The certificate you will receive from this cleric is easily can be get challenged in any court of the world and can be very easily called ‘forged’, so it can easily called unacceptable because it is blessed by God but it is not blessed by your government stamp.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, if you have any doubt, go and check your Constitution. Especially my Muslim Brothers and Sisters are you married legally or not?

Irresponsible response from the management of Kout Food Group (KFG)

To, Dione Hamilton & Arron Morley Dear Sir or Madam:             I have accepted your invitation, which I just got now. I will be there on Monday 24 th September 2012 at 06:00 PM at Burger King Lady Bay Retail Park. First thing first, will you please tell the GM Yanna Li and the senior members of staff, of Burger King, Lady Bay Retail Park, to stop spreading rumours about my family and me. If anyone has any problem with me, so come and deal with me. I will not tolerate any rumours regarding my family and me. I am not happy with the presents of Area Manager Arron Morley and GM Yana Li. The reason for sending my resignation to the Area Manager Arron Morley was to bring this matter under his knowledge but the rumours I am getting from Burger King, it is very hard to trust anyone in this business now. I have no objection with the presents of Louise Mounsey in the investigation. Inste...

Pakistan, A Herd of Sheep

It's very surprising and shocking to see that how Pakistani people living in the West are concerned about Syria. I like to ask these people that what about people living in Pakistan. Why don't these people show their concerns for their country of origin?   Why don't they show concern about the corruption of the government? Why don't they show concern when elections are rigged? Why don't they demand for voting rights for Pakistani nationals living in foreign countries? Why don't they demand for electoral reforms in Pakistan if they claim that it's a democratic country? Why don't they show concern about feudal lord and landlord system of the society? Why don't they show concern about political dynasties ruling the country? Why don't they show concern about poverty in Pakistan? Why don't they show concern on deteriorating law and order situation in Pakistan? Why don't they show concern when the army train, support and e...

Dear Muhajir Nation III

O Muhajir people  You are being a target to be divided and you know well what happens when you are divided.  Never forget your history. Never forget what is happening since 1947 till now.  When you came as refugees you were rejected by the local people and asked to go back from where ever you have come from.  In 1971, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman asked for your help for independence, you said no you will support West Pakistan and when West Pakistan lost they deserted you, living your brothers and sisters stateless, which are still stateless in Bangladesh. Similarly, Bengalis who are left in West Pakistan are stateless till date.  There was a reason to create Muhajir Quami Movement (MQM). When this movement became popular, the local feudal lords and landlords didn’t liked it and don’t like it till date.  They have tried to crush Muhajir nation time by time. Never forget military operation in early 1990’s, which was called Operation Clean U...
