In a democratic electoral process, a party or a leader is
not important. The important thing is who are the candidates in your
constituency. Are they honest? Are they committed to their commitments?
Elections in South Asia are not like in Americas, where people elect their
Presidents.
This part of the world is different. Here you are not voting
for one person. You are electing a parliamentarian for your parliament. You are
not electing a President.
So, I just want to request the nation to not think about any
particular party or a leader or founder of a political party because they are
not important. The important thing is who are the candidates.
If for example, the party, which you like, have a candidate
with a bad reputation or who is corrupt so, you should not elect that person. I
repeat myself just don’t go for a party or a leader of a particular party,
think many times before you vote.
You are voting for the candidate of your constituency. Elect
honest people, who can deliver their promises. It doesn’t matter from which
party, family, cast, group or religion they belong.
I can only hope the nation of Democratic Republic of
Pakistan, vote wisely tomorrow. I repeat vote wisely, don’t be a herd of sheep.
And please stop elect feudal lords, landlords and warlords
or rich people; they don’t need their votes. They have what they need in their
lives, now you need to have what you need in your lives. These rich people
don’t know what is hunger.
