An Appeal to the People of Pakistan


Assalaam-e-Alaikum,

            As by the directives of the Supreme Court to the Election Commission Pakistan to register Pakistanis living outside the country, I like to register myself for elections. I have written to the High Commission from Pakistan to this country, to know the procedure to get register myself for elections in Pakistan.

I like to make a request to my fellow citizens of Pakistan, living outside the country, please contact your nearest High Commission, Embassy, Consulate General or Consulate to get yourself register and people please do vote for your country. It doesn’t matter to whom you vote but do vote, this is your right and this is your duty for your country.

If you are a Muslim, do not vote. If you are a Hindu, do not vote. If you are a Christian, do not vote. If you are a Jew, do not vote but if you think you are a Pakistani, please do vote.

If you are a Punjabi, do not vote. If you are a Pashtun, do not vote. If you are a Baloch, do not vote. If you are Sindhi, do not vote. If you are a Kashmiri, do not vote. If you are an Urdu Speaker, do not vote but if you think you are a Pakistani, please do vote.

If you are a Pakistani, do vote and prove it

Try, try again and one day you will prevail

O Muhajir people  You are being a target to be divided and you know well what happens when you are divided.  Never forget your history.
